Message: Oracle Database server maintenance

On Sunday, June 13th, the OIT DBA team, in coordination with Oracle’s Platinum services team, will begin the quarterly patching required by Security & Compliance on the Production Oracle database server. The non-production patching has already been completed with no issues. Systems dependent on Oracle databases may be unavailable during maintenance. Applications such as the MyPack Portal, HR, Financial, Student Information Systems, etc. will be impacted by this maintenance.
The patching is scheduled to begin on Sunday at approximately 12:30 pm. The patching could take up to 15+/- hours but databases will only be unavailable during the first 5-6 hours. We anticipate all Oracle databases to be available by 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
